Our day today

Today has been just another busy fun filled day in our house. Started with snuggles in bed and some Daniel tiger on the iPad. After breakfast we begin Kelleys lessons. Today we started her first day in the second week on lessons I planned out. The first week took us about three weeks to finish all the activities I had planned. I don't stress out to get it all done if either one of us don't feel like doing it all or if we make other plans like story time at library, swimming at grandparents, play dates or baby brother Luke who is nine weeks today has a needing more mommy time sort of day then we just wait and finish the next week. Luke has been extremely fussy the past few days. He constantly wants to nurse doesn't even go a full two hours and he is ready to eat again. He does sleep all night so I guess nursing all day is  the result of that. He hasn't been napping very long either especially today just little cat naps. 

 Ok so after breakfast we got Kelleys little pool out because today we learned about the letter F so we fished with her bathtub toy in the pool. The pole and magnet fish don't work to awesome because the fish always flip over but she had fun anyways. After a little while she got fussy which isn't like her. she loves to be outside but we have had colds so I'm guessing she still doesn't feel good. So we came inside to chill out until she was ready for more learning. Luke is either sleeping or hanging out with us whatever we are doing. He loves his big sister. 

 

After Kelley played for a little while upstairs we worked on counting. Last week we worked on numbers 1-5 so today I set out different stacks of toys with a different amount of each and we worked on counting. She will repeat me and point when we count. She will say four five six all by herself and today every time I asked her what number came next she said four. So we will keep practicing counting. She loves to count. 

Next we went downstairs and colored her letter F page, mixed two different shades of blue paint and one green and painted a paper plate ( her fish bowl) after it dries we will finish, next I painted one of her feet pink (her color of the day) and the other yellow and then let her walk back and forth on big paper we painted her feet several times so she could keep making foot prints. After this zach ( dad) started cooking lunch, Kelley did puzzles, and I vacuumed some. Our dog is a outside dog but comes into her cage sometimes. She sheds so bad so we have to vacuum a lot by her cage. It makes me crazy!! My husband works a night shift right now so he is home in the mornings and leaves for work during nap. He also has a part time job he does mostly from home. He has to work so hard so that I am able to stay home with our sweet babies. 

Well I try my hardest to nap when Kelley does but Luke doesn't always let that happen. I got to nap some today but he has been so fussy, nursing all the time and barely napping that it wasn't a long nap. Tomorrow is his doc apt so I am hoping I can get some advice. After nap is snack time and then between nursing, holding and playing with Luke, I try to get Kelleys lesson finished. I also have to fit playtime in with her and stories she absolutely loves to sit read by herself and for me to read to her. We finished her fish bowl craft, made noodle necklaces, decorated her heart which is the shape of the day, and then used heart stickers to decorate a pink paper (pink is the color of the day). 

Finally after dinner, more playing , bath time, stories ( we read one fish two fish red fish blue fish).  I got miss Kelley to sleep and as soon as I turned her light out Luke woke up to eat and night time fun/fussing with mommy. He has been chilling in my lap while I wrote this. I have lots of dishes, laundry, cleaning, and so much else that needs done but if tonight goes like the last few nights with Luke being fussy and eating until about ten then nothing will get done cause when he goes to bed I will finally shower and go to bed too. I do watch greys anatomy at night while playing with him. Well thanks for reading if you got to the end :) I'm new to writing a blog so feel free to leave me some advice :)
